California Probate Form DE-160 Inventory and Appraisal

California Probate Form DE-160 Inventory and Appraisal is where you value the assets as of the date of death. There are several different types. The most common ones are:

FINAL INVENTORY – the last or thought to be last inventory;
PARTIAL INVENTORY – used when you intend for there to be more inventories;
SUPPLEMENTAL – when you find something after filing your “final;”
CORRECTED – when you fix something filed on a previous inventory.

On the inventory form the Administrator will sign that they have notified the county if there is real estate.

Additionally the attorney will sign a statement regarding the bond to confirm it’s adequate.
