This is great news for us attorneys who practice regularly in the Placer County probate court. In fact, my office is in Roseville, CA which, of course, is in Western Placer County. This email was sent to me as a member of the Placer County Bar Association. I wanted to share with all of you as it includes valuable information and valuable links. Please contact us with questions about a Placer county probate as well as probates in any other probate court in California.

Placer County Superior Court E-Filing
TO ALL PCBA MEMBERS AND CONTACTS
Placer County Superior Court has just launched its e-filing program called “eDelivery.” It is fairly simple to set up and file pdf documents. I ran through it this morning as one of the court’s “guinea pigs.” Below you will find links to the court’s website on this new e-filing program along with the written instructions. The court’s webpage has two videos – one on how to set-up your court filing account and one on how to submit documents for filing.
I found that if you go page by page of the instructions when setting up your account and filing documents, it helps. You will probably use the instructions on filing documents a few times at first. The videos are short and helpful to watch before using the written instructions.
Helpful hint: Under Local Rule 10-27, any PDF document longer than 15 pages must be bookmarked. Use your PDF computer program and bookmark the headings/sections/exhibits before you upload your document for filing. Once you file your documents, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your filing. You can check status within the eDelivery portal as well.
